Number of times lately we heard stories about strange things happening in Egypt under the supervision of Mr.Hawass. Some new discoveries were announced here and there, but a lot of bad things too like building a fence around Great pyramid, more and more restrictions to researchers get access to the sites, and it is known fact about filtration of knowledge about discoveries in Valley of Kings. Not everything goes public. But still a lot of independent projects were done and some unusual things were discovered. So maybe Mr. Hawass and his clan is getting more and more afraid to be exposed with his hidden agenda and that`s why they came up with something way more radical than ever before. I know that hordes of tourists are not helping to preserve ancient sites and artifacts but really??? Close them forever???? Really??
PS: just thinking if you are in charge what is the best way to not permit any
unwanted research to be done using new technologies and ideas and keep everything same established way forever???
