The topic idea reminds me of the recent article about the magnetic portal connecting the Earth to the Sun:

Neat idea to think about, but I couldn't really add any understanding or reasoning to it. In a sci fi world though, it would add a totally different perspective to monuments and locations like the below "Portal of the Sun":

Yeah, these I've seen found all over the place. Oddly enough, the ancients called them star gates. That article you posted is some cool stuff. Just more very real evidence that things we once thought of as ancient fairy tales are actually facts of lost ancient knowledge. Did you see the recently found Mayan artifact at the beginning of the youtube vid? Supposedly there is going to be a documentary coming out this fall about that one and many others like it. If you check the thread here titled "Extraterrestrial Artifacts And Mayan Documentary" you can see some more of the pictures. Pretty compelling stuff.

I've definitely been paying attention to those artifacts, but they kind of remind of the Burrows Cave artifacts found here in the US. I want so badly for them to be real, but I can't let myself get too excited until there is undeniable proof that they are authentic. Kind of like the guys on the television show Pawn Stars - the item may look real, but I can't stand behind it until I have an authority put their stamp on it. I am looking forward to that documentary though. Hopefully they're taking their time with the release so they can have credible sources verify the info before it's released. If they don't, they're going to get smashed by the mainstream.

Even definitive proof would be twisted by mainstreamers the same way it's been our entire existence. Religious beliefs have always been a huge roadblock for these type of thinkers. They need so badly to hold on to the "truths" they've been fed all their lives that any other way of thinking scares the $h!t out of them. If they'd only open their eyes and see what their ancient religious texts are saying to them, not what they've been told they say, then a lot of this evidence would become more clear to them. This is what Mr. Von Daniken did and that's why we're having this discussion today. Pioneers with open minds like him are truly few and far between and I don't see that changing any time soon even if a ship from another planet landed right on the White House lawn to coin a phrase. I Know, I'm rambling. Sorry.

Haha, no worries, that was a good ramble. You're passionate and that's whats important. To your point though, they will get criticized regardless of whether they have substantial proof or not. I personally do not need the president to stand up and say they are correct, but I do need someone to collaborate and substantiate the findings (carbon dating, etc). There are more than enough credible sources out there who are willing to help, let's hope they do so in this case.

Right on Hollow. I don't need the government or media admitting anything either. In fact, I believe the proof is already there for everyone to see. It would be REAL nice though to get some evidence that at least opens a few minds. Rome wasn't built in a day.

On another thread I commented that Capricorny had put pictures from JPL and NASA of ships coming out of the Sun, and it has been discussed as said on another thread. I started another on asking the question, but it really is just another of this same topic, and if the moderators see fit, could join them all together.
