IMPORTANT A.A.S. R.A. MEMBER UPDATE!

Thank you very much for your justified concern where your latest Legendary Times Magazine is. I'm issuing this statement to inform you what is going on behind the scenes:

It has been a crazy/busy 4 months for us and the success of ANCIENT ALIENS SEASON 1 was met with such a level of success that it far, FAR exceeded our wildest expectations!

Truth be told, we were simply UNPREPARED for this OUTBURST of support for the A.A.S. R.A. and Legendary Times Magazine!

Contrary to what you may think, our staff is still quite small and I can only be torn in so many directions at once. In fact, Legendary Times Magazine and the A.A.S. R.A. is run by exactly one person, and half an assistant. That one person - you guessed it - is me.

However, GOOD NEWS is on the horizon for all of you A.A.S. R.A. enthusiasts because BIG things have been happening at the LT Clubhouse recently:

1) WE KNOW that we are late with the latest issue. We are actually embarrassingly aware of this fact! LTM is at the printer NOW and it is a DOUBLE issue, meaning you'll get two issues in one. We are anticipating that the issue will be sent out directly from the printing house in mid-November. We're already working in the next issue as well.

2) Also, the SECOND (!) Season of ANCIENT ALIENS - THE SERIES premiered on Thursday, October 28th, 2010 on the History Channel! Ten episodes, one hour each, which means you have at least 10 weeks of new AAT material to look forward to!

As you can imagine, I've been a tad busy over the past four months because the AA2 episodes do not film themselves. As the Consulting Producer, I was and still am (!) closely involved with the entire production. And as much as I'd like to, unfortunately, I can't cut myself in half...

3) We've also suffered a major flood in our depository/archive where all of our Legendary Times/A.A.S. R.A. related items are stored (the flood caused an almost complete loss) and we've had to battle and conquer this setback as well. Please have a look at some pictures we took of the disaster: http://tinyurl.com/26xmfpv

So, unbeknownst to you, things ARE happening here and we're dealing with a rather full plate. We're doing everything humanly possible to straighten everything out and get back on track, ...one day at a time.

Many, many years ago, when I sent a similar message to someone explaining why their magazine had been delayed for a couple of months, they replied back by saying, "It is awful PR to let Members know that the organization is experiencing some minor problems." I beg to differ. I beg to differ because the A.A.S. R.A. strives to "uncover the truth," so it will be a cold day in hell before I will dish up a story/explanation that is untrue.

You deserve the truth, and if the truth means that we've been a bit overwhelmed and are scrambling to get things done, then so be it. I'd rather tell you we're overwhelmed and scrambling than tell you everything's hunky dory. Also, as a Member, I'd rather know what is REALLY going than to have the wool pulled over my eyes. You're NOT going to be lied to at the A.A.S. R.A. - I won't play that game.

As my trust to you, if you wish, I can issue you a complete refund, because the last thing I want is an angry or dissatisfied Member. There's too much negative energy in the world already. Just tell me the word and the refund is on its way to you. I'd rather have you happy than dissatisfied - or heaven forbid, angry! - despite having given you a sensible explanation of what is going on behind the scenes which I hope will give you the answers you were looking for to put your mind at ease.

Rest assured, I have NOT forgotten about you! ...but I'm human too, and there is only so much I can do on any given day.

Thank you very much for your patience and understanding. Your support is MUCH appreciated. Please feel free to contact me if there's anything else I can help you with. Send a message to office (at) legendarytimes.com

With my very best regards,
