Fate of the Dinosaurs

Did Aliens visit Earth in the remote past? Are modern UFO reports old news? Could the knowledge of apparently highly advanced technology in ancient civilizations be related to alien contact? Did ET visitors interfere with or influence human and cultural evolution? Did the "gods" come from outer space? You bet! This is the board to discuss mankind's cosmic past!

Fate of the Dinosaurs

Postby Quelquechosedautre » Sat Dec 10, 2011 10:18 am

Consider these facts...

In 1865, Pere David was in China when he saw a beautiful, but rare deer. He brought one back to England and convinced Lord Tavistock to let 18 roam free on his country estate at Wolburn Abbey. The Pere David Deer ultimately became extinct in China and across the world...EXCEPT the one herd roaming free in the English gardens at Wolburn Abbey. After the fall of Mao, China has negotiated to have a few of the otherwise extinct Pere David Deer back to China to reintroduce them there on reserves.

By the late 19th Century, the AMerican Buffalo was almost extinct. Outside of Yellowstone Park they almost entirely died out EXCEPT for on one particular ranch. By the late 1960's Ted Turner of CNN owned over 90% of all the American Buffalos outside of Yellowstone Park, and from his original stock, the AMerican Bufflao is being reintrodued in places and most of those in zoos are again from this source.

Sailors on the old clippers and sailing ships of the past used to keenly take giant turtles as they had a particular property. Despite not feeding them nor even giving them hardly any fresh water for weeks on end, they would stay alive, allowing them a permanent source fo fresh meat on the other side of the world from home, where their salted pork came from.

The dodo too, also died out as it was easy to catch and provided an endless source fo fresh meat in the middle of the Pacific to the sailors.

Now consider...

We know the dinosaurs died out on Earth... but are they extinct? Maybe like the turtles, they could live for a long time without water and food. The aliens would surely need at least some sort of food stock for their journey home. And perhaps some dinosaurs are still alive in zoos, ranches etc on other planets?

Also, consider, we know that the dinosaurs were wiped out by a fat asteroid whacking the Earth, but was it really an asteroid and an accident?

Consider, you are an alien, you have hunted for a serviceable planet for years. Finally you find a really useful, UNCLAIMED one, Food, light, heat, resources, it has it all. Only big problem is that it is inhabited by monsters the size of an office block that will psychopathically attack and kill on sight. Solution? You genocide them first. A big fat nuke or perhaps, divert a nearby asteroid and BINGO! Six weeks later, tHe planet and all its resources are yours!

It is possible the extraterrestrials visited millions of years ago and brought some dinosaurs home with them to keep on ranches or their equivalent of zoos.

They might of seen the large asteroid that ultimately caused the dinosaurs to become extinct and decided to save a bunch of them before fate took its course.

What if some of the Dinosaurs survived and evolved?

Postby Inquiring Mind » Sat Dec 10, 2011 7:26 pm

Movies, TV shows, cartoons, childrens books and novels have all long been a mainstay for tales and themes chalk full of cryptic allusions that hint towards the Dinosaurs never going extinct but instead evolving secretly alongside humans and many times possessing a technological prowess and sophistication that is superior to that of humans. Vortexes, parallel universes/dimensions, and hidden underground worlds, as well as space travel and ancient 'alien' intervention are all common and consistent narratives in many of these stories:

" LAND OF THE LOST " A Children's series about a family who travels back in time to a saurian dominated land where the villains are an aggressive reptilian-humanoid race. One of the most interesting children's shows that have reptilian-humanoid characters. The family's mission is to adapt to their new (ancient) world and to survive the periodic attacks by the reptilian villains called the "Sleestak" and various dinosaurs. In one particular episode, a reptilian humanoid alien, named "Zarn", arrives on the scene to study humans that radiate "emotional heat"...much like experiencers reports stating that the reptilian aliens appear to enjoy their emotionally heightened state and may even find it nourishing.

"Land of the Lost details the adventures of the Marshall family (father Rick, his son Will, and younger daughter Holly) who are trapped in an alternate universe inhabited by dinosaurs, a primate-type people called Pakuni, and aggressive humanoid/lizard creatures called Sleestak. The episode storylines focus on the family's efforts to survive and find a way back to their own world, but the exploration of the exotic inhabitants of the Land of the Lost is also an ongoing part of the story.[4]"

"The Marshalls are brought to the mysterious world by means of a dimensional portal,[10] a device used frequently throughout the series and a major part of its internal mythology. This portal opens when they are swept down a gigantic 1,000 foot waterfall. We later learn in what should have been the series finale (titled "Circle", which explains the time paradox) that this portal is actually opened by Rick Marshall himself, while in Enik's [ENKI the Anunnaki 'god'?] cave, as a way for the current Marshalls to return to earth, resolving the paradox and allowing Enik to also return to his time."

"..They also do battle with the hostile Sleestak (lizard-men) and "cave men" called Pakuni (one of whom, Cha-Ka, they befriend), as well as a variety of dangerous creatures, mysterious technology, and strange geography....Though the term "time doorway" is used throughout the series, Land of the Lost is not meant to portray an era in Earth's history, but rather an enigmatic zone whose place and time are unknown. The original creators of these time portals were thought to be the ancestors of the Sleestak, called Altrusians, though later episodes raised some questions about this.

Many aspects of the Land of the Lost, including the time doorways and environmental processes, were controlled by the Pylons, metallic obelisk-shaped booths that were larger on the inside than the outside and housed matrix tables — stone tables studded with a grid of colored crystals. Uncontrolled time doorways result in the arrival of a variety of visitors and castaways in the Land."

"Anonymous Rex" is an original movie made for the Sci Fi TV channel, directed by Julian Jarrold and adapted to film by Joe Menosky from the novel Casual Rex by Eric Garcia. The premise of the film is that dinosaurs did not die off, but faked their extinction and now live among humans in disguise. In the past they wore latex suits, but they now use holographic disguises to mask their appearance and coexist with humans without persecution.

"Adventures in Dinosaur City is a 1992 television film directed by Brett Thompson. The story revolves around three teenagers who are transported into their favorite TV show, "Dino Saurs."

"The story involves a group of kids, (Timmy, Jamie and Mick) in their early to mid teens who enjoy watching their favorite TV show, named "Dino Saurs". Wanting to watch it on a better screen, Timmy, the youngest of the three, suggest they try and watch it on his dad's screen in his lab. The moment they turn it on, a vortex sucks the three into the TV screen, and into their favorite show. Upon entering the new world, the trio comes across the character of Forry, a Dimorphodon who can't fly. Although reluctant at first to help the kids, his knowledge of Dinosaur World proves useful, as he guides the three kids to Tar Town, where they join up with Rex and Tops, two dinosaur freedom fighters willing to ignite a revolution against the villain, Mr. Big, and his evil caveman pawns, "The Rockies."

" SUPER MARIO BROTHERS ". The film begins "What if the dinosaurs weren't all destroyed? What if the impact of that meteorite created a parallel dimension where the dinosaurs continued to thrive and evolve into intelligent, vicious, aggressive beings, just like us? And hey, what if they found a way back?" The films heroes venture into an underground passageway where they "fall" into that other realm, battle the evolved humanoid dinosaurs and prevent the imminent saurian invasion of our dimension."

"Mario and Luigi are two Italian American plumbers living in Brooklyn, New York. The brothers are being driven out of business by the mafia-like Scapelli Construction Company, led by contractor Anthony Scapelli. Mario is the elder of the two brothers, being close to the late 30's, and Luigi is in his mid 20's. Luigi falls in love with an orphaned NYU student, Daisy, who is digging under the Brooklyn Bridge for dinosaur bones. After a date, she takes Luigi to the dig and witnesses Scapelli's men (who, along with Scapelli himself, had previously threatened her to end her research on that specific piece of land for their own interests) sabotage it by leaving the water-pipes open."

"Mario and Luigi awaken a minute later and head deeper into the caves following Daisy's screams and discover an interdimensional portal through which Mario and Luigi follow Daisy. They find themselves in a strange dystopian parallel world where a human-like race evolved from dinosaurs rather than the mammalian ancestry of true humans. Sixty-five million years ago, a meteorite crashed into the Earth and in doing so ripped the universe into two parallel dimensions. All the surviving dinosaurs of the time crossed over into this new realm. Iggy and Spike turn out to be henchmen (and cousins) of the other world's germophobic and obsessive dictator, King Koopa, descended from the T-Rex. However, the two have failed to also bring Daisy's rock, a meteorite fragment which Koopa is trying to get in order to merge his world with the real world that separated from Koopa's world during the meteor strike. It turns out that Daisy is the Princess of the other dimension but when Koopa overthrew Daisy's father (and turned him into fungus), Daisy's mother took her to New York using the inter-dimensional portal."

"...Eventually, the two worlds merge and Koopa inadvertently devolves Scapelli into a primate while aiming for Mario, but Luigi and Daisy take back the rock and the worlds separate again. Mario confronts Koopa and eventually wins when he and Luigi devolve him, transforming him into a ferocious, semi-humanoid Tyrannosaurus. Koopa then leaps out for a final attack but Mario and Luigi destroy him by devolving him into primeval slime. "

"Dinotopia is an isolated island inhabited by shipwrecked humans and sentient dinosaurs who have learned to coexist peacefully as a single symbiotic society. The first book has "appeared in 18 languages in more than 30 countries and sold two million copies."[1] Dinotopia: A Land Apart from Time and Dinotopia: The World Beneath both won Hugo awards for best original artwork.[2][3]

Since its original publication, over twenty Dinotopia books have been published by various authors to expand the series. A live-action TV mini-series, a brief live-action TV series, an animated film, and several video games have also been released."

"..Upon the hidden island of Dinotopia, humans and dinosaurs live and work together in harmony with one another and with the Earth itself. It is a place of beauty and wonder lost to the rest of the world. The island itself is surrounded by a storm system and dangerous reefs that prevent safe travel to or from the island.

Aside from a highly diverse ecosystem ranging from deserts to mountains to swamps, Dinotopia also has an extensive system of natural and man-made caves.

The dinosaurs, according to their own legends, have inhabited the island for millions of years, having sought shelter in the underground caverns during the climate changes that caused the extinction of dinosaurs elsewhere on the planet.

The caverns are referred to as the World Beneath, and many dinosaurs go there to die. According to legends, a half man-half ceratopsian being named Ogthar climbed down there (where the sun is said to sleep at night) and stole pieces of it (known as "sunstones"), using them to create the empire of Poseidos and populating it with metal dinosaurs. However, the sea grew angry with the artificial city and rose to destroy it. It is implied that this is where the Atlantis myth originated."

"Dinosaucers (known in Japan as: Dinosaur warriors Dinosaucers (恐竜戦士ダイノサセーズ Kyōryū Senshi Dainosasēzu?) is an animated television series co-produced in the United States, Canada and Japan. It was created by DIC Entertainment and Madhouse which has done the overseas animation and in association with Ellipse Programmé and Nelvana. This animated program originally aired in syndication in the USA in 1987 by Coca-Cola Telecommunications. 65 total episodes were made and the show only lasted one season during the 1987-1988 television season."

"..The show follows the Dinosaucers and their battles against the evil Tyrannos. Each group is composed of intelligent anthropomorphic dinosaurs or other prehistoric reptilian species. The Dinosaucers are also allied with four humans known as the Secret Scouts. The two groups originally come from a planet in a counter-Earth orbit known as Reptilon. Most of the characters are named after the type of prehistoric animal they are based on, or some pun of the name.

Both groups have a central base of operations. The Dinosaucers' base is called Lava Dome and is located in a mountain area, in a dormant volcano. The Tyrannos' base is located under a tar pit. Each of the groups' members save for Teryx and Terrible Dactyl–who can themselves fly–have flying ships in which they can travel and do battle. Most ships actually resemble the personae of their respective owners. Along with their individual ships, both groups have a large mothership of sorts as well."

"While Cobra Commander and Serpentor blame each other's stewardship of Cobra as the root cause of the organization's failures, a mysterious woman breaks into the Terrordrome. Cobra Commander leads the counter-attack, but in an attempt to rid himself of Serpentor, allows the intruder to escape. Reaching Serpentor, the intruder reveals herself as Pythona, who comes from a secret civilization known as Cobra-La. Pythona states that they were responsible for inspiring Doctor Mindbender to create Serpentor through dream manipulation. At her urging, Serpentor plans to capture G.I. Joe's newest weapon, the Broadcast Energy Transmitter (BET), a device that, when activated, sends out surges of electrical power."

"...Golobulus orders Cobra Commander arrested as the rest of the group learns the secret origin of both Cobra-La and Cobra: Cobra-La was an ancient civilization that ruled the Earth, in part due to their advanced scientific knowledge that allowed them to manipulate and convert living creatures into advanced bio-organic technology. Their society was devastated by the onset of the Ice Age, forcing the survivors into caverns within the Himalayan mountains. As centuries passed, Cobra-La rebuilt their society in secret. Golobulus, hating humanity due to their polluting technology and ecologically unfriendly ways, vowed to wipe them off the face of the Earth, and found an agent in the form of a former nobleman who was working on biological weapons of mass destruction. A lab accident caused the nobleman's face to be permanently disfigured with eight additional eyes. Equipping him with a featureless silver facemask that allowed his multiple eyes to work normally, as well as a uniform that allowed him to pass for human, the nobleman became Cobra Commander and was charged with conquering the world for Cobra-La. However, Cobra Commander's repeated failures led Golobulus to arrange for Serpentor's creation as he used a "psychic motivator" on Doctor Mindbender to create Serpentor. Golobulus punishes Cobra Commander for his repeated failures, exposing him to the biological weapon Cobra Commander disfigured himself developing years earlier: mutative spores that slowly transform Cobra Commander into a large snake. "Dinosaurs is initially set in 60,000,003 BC. The show centers on the Sinclair family: Earl Sinclair, the father; Fran Sinclair, the mother; Robbie Sinclair, the son; Charlene Sinclair, the daughter; Baby Sinclair; and Grandmother Phillips."

"..Curiously, the Sinclair family [same name as the elite Scottish aristocratic family] members all appear to belong to wildly different species of dinosaurs. Humans have appeared in several episodes as cavemen, and the dinosaur characters often expressed the belief that humans could never develop intelligence. Earl's favorite show on T.V. features a talking caveman named "Mr. Ugh", a direct parody of Mr. Ed, further expressing the dinosaurs' belief that humans are stupid. A recurring joke is that the dinosaurs do not know how to tell male and female humans apart and usually switch them in conversation, or as shown in one episode, "The Mating Dance", in which zookeepers unknowingly pair two obviously male humans together and cannot figure out why they will not produce offspring. There are also other recurring characters, typically Earl's Wesayso Corporation co-workers."

The same theme of humans being regarded as inferior to reptiles is found in a number of ancient texts and most notably in the latest Geiko commercials where humans are depicted as cavemen in comparison to the suave, well spoken and sophisticated upright standing, talking lizard!:

P687:1, 60:2.1

http://urantiabook.org/newbook/papers/p060.htm

120,000,000 years ago a new phase of the reptilian age began. The great event of this period was the evolution and decline of the dinosaurs. Land-animal life reached its greatest development, in point of size, and had virtually perished from the face of the earth by the end of this age. The dinosaurs evolved in all sizes from a species less than two feet long up to the huge noncarnivorous dinosaurs, seventy-five feet long, that have never since been equaled in bulk by any living creature.

The largest of the dinosaurs originated in western North America. These monstrous reptiles are buried throughout the Rocky Mountain regions, along the whole of the Atlantic coast of North America, over western Europe, South Africa, and India, but not in Australia.

These massive creatures became less active and strong as they grew larger and larger; but they required such an enormous amount of food and the land was so overrun by them that they literally starved to death and became extinct -- they lacked the intelligence to cope with the situation.

........
P688:6, 60:2.14
One hundred million years ago the reptilian age was drawing to a close. The dinosaurs, for all their enormous mass, were all but brainless animals, lacking the intelligence to provide sufficient food to nourish such enormous bodies. And so did these sluggish land reptiles perish in ever-increasing numbers. Henceforth, evolution will follow the growth of brains, not physical bulk, and the development of brains will characterize each succeeding epoch of animal evolution and planetary progress.

".............
>>>>
35,000,000 years ago marks the beginning of the age of placental-mammalian world domination. ........>>>>>>>>>On land this was pre-eminently the age of mammalian renovation and expansion. Of the earlier and more primitive mammals, over one hundred species were extinct before this period ended. Even the mammals of large size and small brain soon perished. Brains and agility had replaced armor and size in the progress of animal survival. And with the dinosaur family on the decline, the mammals slowly assumed domination of the earth, speedily and completely destroying the remainder of their reptilian ancestors.

The Idea that the demise of the dinosaurs came about by an asteroid is still a theory, it has yet to be proved that this is what actually happened to them.

I like the idea that aliens may have taken dinosaurs and it may be the aliens that were responsible for their demise.

We should all be grateful that something did cause the demise of the dinosaurs because if that hadn't have been the case, we wouldn't be discussing these ideas here on this forum, they would be the dominant species on this planet!

I once watched a documentary that imagined what they thought a dinosaur would look like if they were around today, picture a 9 foot tall reptile that was humanoid in shape, real scary looking and with almond shaped eyes just like the typical grey alien.

While they did find a location for the impact of the asteroid, they cannot be certain it did cause the full extinction. One thing they can do is speculate, and from the layer of dust caused by the impact, the Earth lost much of its sunlight causing the temperature to drop. This probably did not help the largest creatures on the planet try to survive this disaster.

I do have a theory told to me, that there was a time when the dinosaurs still lived among us in the time before the flood. The ark of noah(ziusudra) may not have held such giant dangerous beasts. Even the mammoth too large to be part of it, as well as beasts of the ice age period. It made sense of the balance of life the world has now.

The Ark could have held scientific data. The DNA of all life forms, but the gods selecting only to survive the beasts of today because of the balance of life to not be wiped out by other larger beasts.

The placement of special beasts in certain areas also is important to not upset the ecology of an area. Example some parts of the world where we have let loose an evasive species have wiped out other species in an area, upseting the balance of life in a system area. Like 3 ft pacu fish and snakehead fish in a lake eat all the plant and fish. Army ants in south america now, african giant pouch rats and giant python snakes in florida as a threat.

The extinction of the dinosaurs by a large meteor 65 million years ago, is a logical theory. Also the dinosaurs that can have been with us until the flood, another logical theory. There is a great reality that there are undiscovered beasts in the jungles forests and seas. Even underground can be undiscovered beings, an advanced human population, and also reptilian humanoids, grey humanoids, to an ant people race. The myths told may have some truth.

Dinosaurs were warm blooded, and it does appear birds are their likely descendants. It is also possible for a few species to of survived the impact (I certainly would love for that to of happened) and are still among us in some very desolate areas such as the forests of Africa or in the oceans themselves. I am reminded of the "Bloop", Loch Ness Monster and many other sightings of such beasts around the world.

Behemoth, Leviathan , the Reem , Adne Sadeh and the Ziz

I don’t know much about dinosaurs and the findings of the remains of these that are unearthed around the world. I do however question the dating the mainstream scientists make out of these findings and their theories on how and why they suddenly got extinct. The mainstream scientists claims that the bones from these findings are more than 65 million years old, and that the dinosaurs probably got extinct due to a big catastrophe, like a big meteor hitting earth. What if the mainstream scientists are wrong on all this, and the real explanations of the dinosaurs and their faith can still be read in various ancient texts?

Before I go any further , i would like to mention to you five very special animals that are described in various ancient texts, and present them to you as best as I can at the end of this post.

I believe these creatures were dinosaurs and that they were created by the alien colonists that colonized earth in ancient times. According to midrash , the alien colonists created two Leviathans (also called taninim), male and female and one Ziz on the 5th day of Creation Week. The next day, God created two Behemoths, both male and female. But realizing these two monsters, Behemoth and Leviathan, could produce offspring that would destroy the whole world, God killed off the females and place the males into two different locations each.

Behemoth is known as the King of all mammals while Leviathan is the King of all fish and Ziz is the King of all birds in the air. Unlike all of today's animals, all three of these supernatural animals are the only animals man cannot control. They can only be controlled and killed off by the One who created them in the first place — The alien colonists.

According to my understanding of the seven days of creation one such creation day is equal to one complete zodiac circle, which is about 25800 years. Since the above and all other animals were created on the fifth and sixth day , and we now are about to complete the eight day, all animal life on earth (including the dinosaurs) were thus created from about 75000 to 100000 years ago.

There probably were hundreds or perhaps thousands of different dinosaur species roaming the earth in those pre historic times, but the multitude of ancient texts only seems to mention a few species, namely the most powerful of them. One living in the sea, one living on land and the last one in the air. The ancient texts called them the leviathan, the Behemoth, the Ziz . Two other strange animals called Adne Sadeh (some kind of man animal) and The reem (a huge land animal) are also briefly mentioned.

I have collected as much information about them as I can, and presented it for you below to read and judge for yourself what those creatures might have been. According to the ancient texts the colonists eventually killed them or making it impossible for them to reproduce by killing the females. The reason for this is obviously because they became to powerful and thus endangered all the other creations that the alien colonists wanted to bring forth. The dinosaurs were thus not killed by a catastrophe. Most of them were killed by the alien colonists and in the great flood, but according to these ancient text leviathan survived the flood and even feasted on the remains of the animals that were killed in the flood. According to other ancient texts, Leviathan was even observed when man started to use ships. If these ancient texts are to be trusted, dinosaurs and mankind even co-existed for a while.

If these animals were dinosaurs , here is what kind of dinosaurssome of them might have been. First of all. The Hebrew word "tanniyn" is another word for Leviathan and are pronounced ta-neen. It means (dragon). The name Behemoth was first used before 1400 B.C. and the way it is described in the Book of Job , it could very well be a Brachiosaurus. Leviathan was also first used before 1400 B.C. and because of the description of it as given in Job , it could very well be describing a Kronosaurus.
The Reem , the way it is described might be a Monoclonius (single horned dinosaur like Triceratops)

Leviathan (Taninim)

From the book of Job: “Can you pull in the leviathan with a fishhook or tie down his tongue with a rope? Can you put a cord through his nose or pierce his jaw with a hook? Will he keep begging you for mercy? Will he speak to you with gentle words? Will he make an agreement with you for you to take him as your slave for life? Can you make a pet of him like a bird or put him on a leash for your girls? Will traders barter for him? Will they divide him up among the merchants? Can you fill his hide with harpoons or his head with fishing spears? If you lay a hand on him, you will remember the struggle and never do it again! Any hope of subduing him is false; the mere sight of him is overpowering. No-one is fierce enough to rouse him. Who then is able to stand against me? Who has a claim against me that I must pay? Everything under heaven belongs to me. I will not fail to speak of his limbs, his strength and his graceful form. Who can strip off his outer coat? Who would approach him with a bridle? Who dares open the doors of his mouth, ringed about with his fearsome teeth? His back has rows of shields tightly sealed together; each is so close to the next that no air can pass between. They are joined fast to one another; they cling together and cannot be parted. His snorting throws out flashes of light; his eyes are like the rays of dawn. Firebrands stream from his mouth; sparks of fire shoot out. Smoke pours from his nostrils as from a boiling pot over a fire of reeds. His breath sets coals ablaze, and flames dart from his mouth. Strength resides in his neck; dismay goes before him. The folds of his flesh are tightly joined; they are firm and immovable. His chest is hard as rock, hard as a lower millstone. When he rises up, the mighty are terrified; they retreat before his thrashing. The sword that reaches him has no effect, nor does the spear or the dart or the javelin. Iron he treats like straw and bronze like rotten wood. Arrows do not make him flee, slingstones are like chaff to him. A club seems to him but a piece of straw, he laughs at the rattling of the lance. His undersides are jagged potsherds, leaving a trail in the mud like a threshing-sledge. He makes the depths churn like a boiling cauldron and stirs up the sea like a pot of ointment. Behind him he leaves a glistening wake; one would think the deep had white hair. Nothing on earth is his equal— a creature without fear. He looks down on all that are haughty; he is king over all that are proud.”

“In Psalm 74 Yahweh is said to "break the heads of Leviathan in pieces" before giving his flesh to the people of the wilderness; in Psalm 104 Yahweh is praised for having made all things, including Leviathan; and in Isaiah 27:1 he is called the "wriggling serpent" who will be killed at the end of time.”

Later Jewish sources describe Leviathan as a dragon who lives over the Sources of the Deep and who, along with the male land-monster Behemoth, will be served up to the righteous at the end of time. The Jewish Midrash claims that the alien colonists originally produced a male and a female leviathan, but lest in multiplying the species should destroy the world, he slew the female, reserving her flesh for the banquet that will be given to the righteous on the advent of the Messiah.

Rashi’s commentary on Genesis repeats the tradition: "God created the great sea monsters - Taninim. According to legend this refers to the Leviathan and its mate. God created a male and female Leviathan, then killed the female and salted it for the righteous, for if the Leviathans were to procreate the world could not stand before them."

The enormous size of the Leviathan is described by R. Johanan, from whom proceeded nearly all the myths concerning this monster:

"Once we went in a ship and saw a fish which put his head out of the water. He had horns upon which was written: 'I am one of the meanest creatures that inhabit the sea. I am three hundred miles in length, and enter this day into the jaws of the Leviathan. When the Leviathan is hungry he sends forth from his mouth a heat so great as to make all the waters of the deep boil, and if he would put his head into paradise no living creature could endure the odor of him. His abode is the Mediterranean sea and the waters of the Jordan fall into his mouth . In a legend recorded in the Midrash it is stated that the fish which swallowed Jonah narrowly avoided being eaten by the Leviathan, which eats one whale each day.”

The body of the Leviathan, especially his eyes, possesses great illuminating power. This was the opinion of R. Eliezer, who, in the course of a voyage in company with R. Joshua, explained to the latter, when frightened by the sudden appearance of a brilliant light, that it probably proceeded from the eyes of the Leviathan. He referred his companion to the words of Job "By his neesings a light doth shine, and his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning" . However, in spite of his supernatural strength, the leviathan is afraid of a small worm called "kilbit", which clings to the gills of large fish and kills them.

It is also said that, ultimately, God will slaughter the Leviathan, which is described as having "mighty fins" (and, therefore, a kosher fish, not an inedible snake or crocodile), and it will be served as a sumptuous banquet for all the righteous in Heaven.

Whatever the Leviathan was, it was still alive at the time of the flood and feasted on the remains of the animals that drowned in it. The sea dwelling Leviathan even lived after the flood. In a time when marine travel was increasing. The next scripture speaks of Leviathan in the days of sailing.

Psalm 104 KJV 26."There the ships go to and fro, and the leviathan, which you formed to frolic there."

Again, not only is leviathan used within the context of reality, but he exists with man. Not alleged ignorant cavemen, but men capable of building ships and other sea worthy vessels.

We are told that Leviathan was "formed", it was Created by the alien colonists. It did not arise through millions of years of evolution.

Psalm 104 NASB 26."There the ships move along, And Leviathan, which You have formed to sport in it."

Isaiah 27 KJV 1."In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea."

The word "Leviathan" comes from the Hebrew word meaning "one who twist and coils," or "the winding one."

“Leviathan is a fish monster in form of a coiling, serpentine eel-like fish that serves as one of the gatekeepers of Hell, with eyes and scales that glow and illuminate from many miles around.”

“Leviathan makes his home in the Mediterranean, where when he gets hungry, he churns up the waters with his hot, fiery breath to make them boil.”

“The ruler over the sea-animals is leviathan. With all the other fishes he was made on the fifth day. Originally he was created male and female like all the other animals. But when it appeared that a pair of these monsters might annihilate the whole earth with their united strength, God killed the female. So enormous is leviathan that to quench his thirst he needs all the water that flows from the Jordan into the sea. His food consists of the fish which go between his jaws of their own accord. When he is hungry, a hot breath blows from his nostrils, and it makes the waters of the great sea seething hot. Formidable though behemot, the other monster, is, he feels insecure until he is certain that leviathan has satisfied his thirst. The only thing that can keep him in check is the stickleback, a little fish which was created for the purpose, and of which he stands in great awe. But leviathan is more than merely large and strong; he is wonderfully made besides. His fins radiate brilliant light, the very sun is obscured by it, and also his eyes shed such splendor that frequently the sea is illuminated suddenly by it. No wonder that this marvellous beast is the plaything of God, in whom He takes His pastime. There is but one thing that makes leviathan repulsive, his foul smell: which is so strong that if it penetrated thither, it would render Paradise itself an impossible abode.

The real purpose of leviathan is to be served up as a dainty to the pious in the world to come. The female was put into brine as soon as she was killed, to be preserved against the time when her flesh will be needed. The male is destined to offer a delectable sight to all beholders before he is consumed. When his last hour arrives, God will summon the angels to enter into combat with the monster. But no sooner will leviathan cast his glance at them than they will flee in fear and dismay from the field of battle. They will return to the charge with swords, but in vain, for his scales can turn back steel like straw. They will be equally unsuccessful when they attempt to kill him by throwing darts and slinging stones; such missiles will rebound without leaving the least impression on his body. Disheartened, the angels will give up the combat, and God will command leviathan and behemot to enter into a duel with each other. The issue will be that both will drop dead, behemot slaughtered by a blow of leviathan's fins, and leviathan killed by a lash of behemot's tail. From the skin of leviathan God will construct tents to shelter companies of the pious while they enjoy the dishes made of his flesh. The amount assigned to each of the pious will be in proportion to his deserts, and none will envy or begrudge the other his better share. What is left of leviathan's skin will be stretched out over Jerusalem as a canopy, and the light streaming from it will illumine the whole world, and what is left of his flesh after the pious have appeased their appetite, will be distributed among the rest of men, to carry on traffic therewith.”

Behemoth

Description of Behemoth from the book of job:

“ Behold now the behemoth that I have made with you; he eats grass like cattle. Behold now his strength is in his loins and his power is in the navel of his belly. His tail sways like a cedar; the sinews of his thighs are knit together. His limbs are as strong as copper, his bones as a load of iron. His is the first of God's ways; [only] his Maker can draw His sword [against him]. For the mountains bear food for him, and all the beasts of the field play there. Does he lie under the shadows, in the cover of the reeds and the swamp? Do the shadows cover him as his shadow? Do the willows of the brook surround him? Behold, he plunders the river, and [he] does not harden; he trusts that he will draw the Jordan into his mouth. With His eyes He will take him; with snares He will puncture his nostrils.”

“In Tammuz, at the time of the summer solstice, when the strength of behemot is at its height, he roars so loud that all the animals hear it, and for a whole year they are affrighted and timid, and their acts become less ferocious than their nature is.”

“God will command leviathan and behemot to enter into a duel with each other. The issue will be that both will drop dead, behemot slaughtered by a blow of leviathan's fins, and leviathan killed by a lash of behemot's tail.”

“Behemot matches leviathan in strength, and he had to be prevented, like leviathan, from multiplying and increasing, else the world could not have continued to exist; after God had created him male and female, He at once deprived him of the desire to propagate his kind. He is so monstrous that he requires the produce of a thousand mountains for his daily food. All the water that flows through the bed of the Jordan in a year suffices him exactly for one gulp. It therefore was necessary to give him one stream entirely for his own use, a stream flowing forth from Paradise, called Yubal. Behemot, too, is destined to be served to the pious as an appetizing dainty, but before they enjoy his flesh, they will be permitted to view the mortal combat between leviathan and behemot, as a reward for having denied themselves the pleasures of the circus and its gladiatorial contests.”

Ziz (Sekwi,Renanin)

“And the bird monster Ziz makes his home in the sky where the spreading of his wingspan is known to block the sun. Ziz resembles the mythical griffin.”

“Again, in Tishri, at the time of the autumnal equinox, the great bird ziz flaps his wings and utters his cry, so that the birds of prey, the eagles and the vultures, blench, and they fear to swoop down upon the others and annihilate them in their greed.”

“As leviathan is the king of fishes, so the ziz is appointed to rule over the birds. His name comes from the variety of tastes his flesh has; it tastes like this zeh, and like that zeh, the ziz is as monstrous of size as leviathan himself. His ankles rest on the earth, and his head reaches to the very sky.”

“It once happened that travellers on a vessel noticed a bird. As he stood in the water, it merely covered his feet, and his head knocked against the sky. The onlookers thought the water could not have any depth at that point, and they prepared to take a bath there. A heavenly voice warned them: "Alight not here! Once a carpenter's axe slipped from his hand at this spot, and it took it seven years to touch bottom." The bird the travellers saw was none other than the ziz. His wings are so huge that unfurled they darken the sun. They protect the earth against the storms of the south; without their aid the earth would not be able to resist the winds blowing thence. Once an egg of the ziz fell to the ground and broke. The fluid from it flooded sixty cities, and the shock crushed three hundred cedars. Fortunately such accidents do not occur frequently. As a rule the bird lets her eggs slide gently into her nest. This one mishap was due to the fact that the egg was rotten, and the bird cast it away carelessly. The ziz has another name, Renanin, because he is the celestial singer. On account of his relation to the heavenly regions he is also called Sekwi, the seer, and, besides, he is called "son of the nest," because his fledgling birds break away from the shell without being hatched by the mother bird; they spring directly from the nest, as it were. Like leviathan, so ziz is a delicacy to be served to the pious at the end of time, to compensate them for the privations which abstaining from the unclean fowls imposed upon them.”

The Reem

“Leviathan, ziz, and behemot are not the only monsters; there are many others, and marvellous ones, like the reem, a giant animal, of which only one couple, male and female, is in existence. Had there been more, the world could hardly have maintained itself against them. The act of copulation occurs but once in seventy years between them, for God has so ordered it that the male and female reem are at opposite ends of the earth, the one in the east, the other in the west. The act of copulation results in the death of the male. He is bitten by the female and dies of the bite. The female becomes pregnant and remains in this state for no less than twelve years. At the end of this long period she gives birth to twins, a male and a female. The year preceding her delivery she is not able to move. She would die of hunger, were it not that her own spittle flowing copiously from her mouth waters and fructifies the earth near her, and causes it to bring forth enough for her maintenance. For a whole year the animal can but roll from side to side, until finally her belly bursts, and the twins issue forth. Their appearance is thus the signal for the death of the mother reem. She makes room for the new generation, which in turn is destined to suffer the same fate as the generation that went before. Immediately after birth, the one goes eastward and the other westward, to meet only after the lapse of seventy years, propagate themselves, and perish. A traveller who once saw a reem one day old described its height to be four parasangs, and the length of its head one parasang and a half. Its horns measure one hundred ells, and their height is a great deal more.”

“The “unicorn,” mentioned nine times in the KJV Bible, is the Hebrew word “Re-em.” The Septuagint (Greek translation of the Old Testament) translated it “Monokeros” (one-horn) which was used in Bibles until the 19th century when Akkadian and Ugaritic records were found that mentioned the “Re-em” being hunted like a wild ox. However, their early pictograph for the “Re-em” shows an animal head with three horns, like a Triceratops. In Psalm 92:10 the “Re-em” has but one horn, while the language or Deuteronomy 33:17 implies two horns. Many people have theorized that “Re-em” might be a Monoclonius (single horned dinosaur like Triceratops). In Job 39:9-12 God asks, “Will the unicorn be willing to serve you, or abide by your crib? Can you bind the unicorn with his band in the furrow? or will he harrow the valleys after you? Wilt you trust him, because his strength is great?” This passage shows that the unicorn, whatever it was, could not be tamed to be used in farming, as could an ox. “

“In his classic work Naturalis Historia the first century author Pliny the Elder described “an exceedingly wild beast called the Monoceros [one-horned]. …It makes a deep lowing noise, and one black horn two cubits long projects from the middle of its forehead.” He describes it as like an elephant in length, but with much shorter legs.”

“One animal, the reem, Noah could not take into the ark. On account of its huge size it could not find room therein. Noah therefore tied it to the ark, and it ran on behind. Also, he could not make space for the giant Og, the king of Bashan. He sat on top of the ark securely, and in this way escaped the flood of waters. Noah doled out his food to him daily, through a hole, because Og had promised that he and his descendants would serve him as slaves in perpetuity.”

Adne Sadeh

“One of the most remarkable creatures is the "man of the mountain," Adne Sadeh, or, briefly, Adam. His form is exactly that of a human being, but he is fastened to the ground by means of a navel-string, upon which his life depends. The cord once snapped, he dies. This animal keeps himself alive with what is produced by the soil around about him as far as his tether permits him to crawl. No creature may venture to approach within the radius of his cord, for he seizes and demolishes whatever comes in his reach. To kill him, one may not go near to him, the navel-string must be severed from a distance by means of a dart, and then he dies amid groans and moans. Once upon a time a traveller happened in the region where this animal is found. He overheard his host consult his wife as to what to do to honor their guest, and resolve to serve "our man," as he said. Thinking he had fallen among cannibals, the stranger ran as fast as his feet could carry him from his entertainer, who sought vainly to restrain him. Afterward, he found out that there had been no intention of regaling him with human flesh, but only with the flesh of the strange animal called "man."As the "man of the mountain" is fixed to the ground by his navel-string, so the barnacle-goose is grown to a tree by its bill. It is hard to say whether it is an animal and must be slaughtered to be fit for food, or whether it is a plant and no ritual ceremony is necessary before eating it. “

Re: Fate of the Dinosaurs

Postby ThePhiGuy » Wed Dec 21, 2011 4:19 pm

I think it's entirely possible that at least some dinosaurs may have survived even into our present age. There have always been reports coming out of Africa of people spotting dinosaur-like creatures still very much alive. Actually, I think it'd be kinda cool if just a few have survived. Nessie, for instance, just may be a dinosaur and I hope she is real.

I've watched several science shows on TV where scientists claim that birds are directly descendant from dinosaurs; their skeletal systems being exactly the same except (obviously) for their size. Going from great big to just dinky isn't something that happens overnight; it would have taken several million years for those changes to occur.

Many, many animals have survived to this day that were alive during the age of the dinosaurs, sharks, alligators and crocodiles being the most obvious examples, so it seems like some dinosaurs living on past the major extinction may indeed be within the realm of possibility.

The collection of Acambaro clay figures from Mexico, thought to have been made about 2500 years ago certainly suggests that dinosaurs existed long after they were thought to be extinct. The figurines are absolutely mind-boggling.
There are some great pix of them here…

http://www.discoverynews.us/DISCOVERY%20MUSEUM/DinosaurWorld/DinoFigurines/Dinosaur_Figurines_of_Mexico.html

Many of the Acambaro figurines show humans actually interacting and playing with dinosaurs, though the beasts look as if they'd shrunk down to about the size of a large dog. There is also a significant collection of rock carvings found in Peru and South America showing dinosaurs although no one can date them 'cuz you can't date rocks. David Hatcher Childress featured the Peruvian dinosaur rock carvings in one of his videos.

All these artifacts certainly seem to suggest that human beings were around to actually witness dinosaurs but none of the artifacts suggest that dinosaurs remained as large as they once were during the Jurassic Age.

Re: Fate of the Dinosaurs

Postby Bob137 » Thu Dec 22, 2011 8:21 am

I have found that some of the dating of the skeletons found of Dinosaurs are not all realistic, due to some of them being found on top of the ground where they were found, and not embedded into the rocky areas. That would mean a significantly later dating of said creatures, such as within 1 to 10,000 BC, also some fo the findings, even here in Kansas of fossilized remains, and their dating were changed to reflect scholarly belief of Darwanism, due to they would of been alive during around 10,000 to 12,000 BC instead of millions of years ago. So I do believe that some of the Dinosaurs did survive whatever cat strophe befell them, and lived up until at the very least 10,000 BC, or maybe even up until 1 BC, or some similar species of them. The reports of ancient Dinosarian fish have been coming out in the last 10 or so years around the world, and also older reports, and pictures form around the world from soldiers and sailors of giant creatures of the seas can be found from around the 1940's to the 1950's. So I do believe that some do still exist, just in such small quantities, that they are very hard to find.
The past has been misconstrued to make believe, but some can see through the veil, while others simply carry on as though the illusion is real!
