BP oil spill has shut down the north atlantic current :(

Postby truthseeker » Mon Dec 27, 2010 8:26 am

new ice age on the way????

I came across some info a couple days ago that the BP spill has shut down the Gulf stream and this is why we are experiencing the weather we have now. my first reaction was "WTF?!?! this isnt some "conspiracy" about Fluoride killing people or the NWO, why the hell isn't this plastered on the front page of every paper?! why did i have to get this knowledge from the net?! ".

anyways, this has massive implications for the whole planet beyond just a change in the global weather patten but could pose a potential catastrophic breakdown of the food supply, further strain on the global economy which is already teetering on the brink of collapse, animal migrations/invasions/extinctions and so on.
its not an exaggeration to say that this dwarfs Chernobyl or Bhopal (just 2 disasters off the top of my head) and every other disaster in human history. the only parallel i can compare this to is a disaster from any number of Hollywood blockbusters

this disaster has been further compounded by the use of one of the most toxic substances i have ever come across, Corexit, and they are STILL using this stuff even though BP has been ordered to find and use something less damaging. its outlawed in most civilised country's except the US and not a single blessed soul has even gone to prison for this atrocity...that is outrageous and further proves that corporations are bigger than any Govt...but we wont go down the road of "conspiracy" in this thread...

what are your thoughts about this, and did you know about this already or what??

PS. some VERY important clips to watch before you comment:

Drat I am not allowed to watch youtube stuff at work, but from the other links I get the general idea. When that hole was punched in the sea floor and then they said they couldn't stop it and all that Corexit was being sprayed, I knew it was not going to turn out well for Old Mother Earth.

I don't have much to say, am I surprised there are serious global repercussions, no not at all.

It is really awful in the Gulf, but it is like everything else, it gets swept under the rug, we have to look for news. People are getting sick, the Gulf of Mexico is sick and dying and it is not going to stop there.

Well I got to say I am pissed about this not being put on the news on every channel that can support it. It should be plastered in every paper also. I sent it to our local TV station here in Greenville,NC but I have my doubts if I hear a damn thing about it. I am going to notify the local paper and let them take a look at this too and maybe they can work up a story to put in the paper.

I have a good friend in UK and have been corresponding with him for the last 7 years and we always compare weather at his place and here in NC. He was telling me how miserable it has been and temps have been the worst in 100 years. Now that has to say something too. I have read some place that about every one hundred years we have these temp inversions hit us but I don't think it had anything to do with ocean currents at the time this happened back then.

I also sent the interview to every person on my email list and I think that all of you should do the same.

I would just ask why this isn't posted all over the news, but it is a stupid question really, three words "Governments, Corporations and Corruption", and the punch line is they caused this mess in the first place. like I stated before, nothing more than a bad joke!

...and no I didn't know about this before you posted it for us here truthseeker, so thanks!

Afraid so! I really hate to think everything is a conspiracy and a select few are running the show, but more and more, all of the time, it sure as hell is looking that way.

I know what you mean, I hate having to come off sounding like a conspiracy nut, but the evidence shows that this is the way things are.

The writing is on the wall, and has been for thousands of years!

Why isn't the rest of the world upset at this? Either I just haven't heard or they aren't complaining or demanding some solutions to this. It's like only the USA is dealing with it or even upset (or have I missed the rest of the world's complaints?) :x
This is ALL of the world's problem.

i'm not sure i understand you 100% :? what do you mean by??
"Why isn't the rest of the world upset at this?"
"It's like only the USA is dealing with it"

the rest of the world as you put it-is just as much in the dark as i was a few days ago, until i came across this info while researching something else.
the US is not dealing with anything which is why BP is STILL dumping thousands and thousands of tonnes of this poison into the sea.
BP is now largely owned by American investors, the British and Dutch royal family's...they should ALL be shot because this disaster is only just getting started!!!

the mainstream media prove themselves time and time again why they have been discredited and why alternative media sources are kicking their backsides.

A most excellent report by Paul Joseph Watson with regards to the corruption surrounding the deep water horizon's explosion:

What I meant was, that I don't hear about other nations meeting with USA and BP demanding some solutions that work or concerned that their livelihood is at stake. Maybe it's because of exactly what Truthseeker said - they are being kept in the dark along with the people of this Nation.

I remember watching a program on Discovery about the North Atlantic Current and if it is shut down it will cause a mini ice age in North America and Europe and change the climate of the world in one way or another. Forested areas will have drought and deserts rain.

I read the article on the current shutting down back in Sep., (I found the article)
http://www.infiniteunknown.net/2010/09/ ... t-is-gone/

and I wondered, then, why nobody was talking about this? NASA predicted it would only take a few decades to plunge Northern America and Europe into a deep freeze. Look at our Southern States already feeling some dramatic weather changes. The southern wildlife is suffering, the entire ecosystem is going to suffer and change.

Here are many articles on this.

http://www.iceagenow.com/2010_Other_Par ... _World.htm

This is WAY out there - I know this - but I'm going to say it anyway..................... Is it possible that the global warming problem was to be solved by stopping the Atlantic Current, and was this the sad attempt? Maybe they thought it would just slow down. Because I still have a difficult time believing that the leak is so unstoppable and the Gov is so unconcerned, and we are so much in the dark.

At this point I don't think any ideas are really way out there.

@angeloneastralseed, i see what you mean

the problem is not that other country's are in the dark, but some country's and company's who have offered help have been turned away by the Obama Administration...

watch the Watson Report i posted earlier.

And nobody had the cajones to make BP stop spraying the Corexit. I think more than anything that boggled my mind the most! "Don't use it !" "Oh well, OK". Yes and all the offers to help out that got turned away. None of what went on down there and is still going on makes any sense, not in the real world anyway.

If we see how ridiculous, damaging, reckless, and downright defiant this whole thing has become; I wonder what the aliens think. I sure hope they don't clump us all under the "Idiotic Human" label. I sure hope they can see there are actual good people who actually care in this world.

The climate problems right now go beyond the after effects of the oil spill. I am not certain what we will see happen, but we can't keep attacking the earth like this and expect it not to defend itself. It has to heal.

The disaster in the gulf is just 1 of the things that man is doing and allowing to happen, if we take into account cross-species engineering, open air engineering, the contamination of the food chain GMO food, toxic waste dumping, depleted uranium ammunition that's being used by the US, UK, German and French (as well as other military and contract soldiers) military, deforestation (though some forests are blooming), HAARP, chemtrailing and god knows what else...it would not surprise me if we see a "The Day After Tomorrow" type scenario in the next 2 or so years.
