My entire life my dad had this ceramic bowl-like thing hanging above his bed that I was fascinated with and it wasnt until he took it down and gave it to me that I realized it was the Mayan calendar (AAAHHH!!!) Really? ugh.

I have 3 little boys and as fascinated as I am with the mystery of 2012, it KILLS ME to think that my 3 little boys could possibly die painfully and afraid.

At the most, we will probably have high solar storms, that will not out the electrical grids, and it we will have to learn to get by in other ways for about 3 years, that may be one subconscious reason so many are pushing for solar energy, and wind energy, (I think we might need free energy)! The other catastrophe's are already happening, such as floods earthquakes, volcanoes, etc.. so most likely after 12/21/2012, we will be on the downswing of these events! So I would play it safe, but still try to enjoy my life as best I can, and you should also!

If I had to put something on the top of my lists of worries, it is solar flares knocking out power grids. Everything else to me is just a bunch of hype.

What most people have to do is upgrade to the crystalline DNA to release the fear. There are lots of programs out there to do this DNA upgrade. I myself did the shamballa 1024 and it is free. But you have to do all the work.

You don’t have to worry about the E.T.’s as much as you have to worry about the Terrestrial’s called Reptilians who over-soul the Illuminati people and the Elitists who control the wealth of the world. It sounds to me, Cammi2012, like you are allowing a lot of people to plant fear in your mind due to your lack of knowledge. If I were you, I'd attempt to do some independent research. There really isn't much credibility to the 2012 claims when you really dig into them. Even if solar storms knocked power offline for awhile, it wouldn't take us anywhere near 3 years to restore it. At the most, it might take a couple of months to get power restored to major cities.

Ive been away for awhile. Im not so bothered by the 2012 thing. More worried about Elenin and the EM's it carries with it and how that will affect the sun, the sun earth, etc. Im more into finding myself and who I am right now. Probably be doing A TON of posting in the Spirituality section here

Nonetheless, it does sound like a real threat; I stand corrected. We've been warned, and we know what we can do to prepare our grid to withstand such an event. Now, will the government, and companies take the necessary action to protect themselves? Or, will they attempt to capitalize off the situation instead?

I also read something on CBS's site in regards to this, and it stated that they were supposed to be preparing to where they will only have to shut down certain percentages of power ahead of time, but who do you think will be the ones to loose power, the rich, of course not.

Well, if they shut down power, that would be to safeguard the power grid. If the rich don't suffer from that shutdown, then that would mean they have their own private power source.

The danger in the storm would be overloading already occupied electrical conduits, short circuiting electrical equipment. That is where the long term devastation would come from.

If they shut down the power grid during the storms, then we will be protected from that devastation.

I'd rather be without power for a few hours during a solar storm, than be without power for 3 years due to electronic devastation!

If the rich don't lose power during that storm, then they will suffer that fate, so I say, let them keep power. They will only hurt themselves, unless they have high tech shielding.
