Atlantis in Guatemala?

Looks like they have a new location for Atlantis. This time, there is gold involved so of course, it is top on everyone's list. Maybe this is Cayce's Hall of Records?

Led by Joachim Rittsteig, an expert in Mayan writing, a group of scientists and journalists left Germany Tuesday, on a mission to Guatemala in search of a lost Maya treasure allegedly submerged under Lake Izabal.

I am one to think that Atlantis is not located in one certain area, but is a group of people who had a high culture (or civilization once the criteria are found and met). They lived all over the world and had trade routes and communication with each other. I also believe they had contact with the extraterrestrials.

All these finds are clues to this very ancient civilization and should be looked on as a whole. Thank you for this find, Jeff as it actually helps out the ancient seafaring civilization theory.

I agree Max. Though they lived all over the world they likely would have had larger settlements in a few different places that served as "hubs" perhaps even spaceports. I think it is those Atlantian cities that people are referring to when they speak of Atlantis. Even though there may have been several of them.

Mybe it is the fabled El Dorado, Lost City of Gold. Would be cool! Whatever is found, it will be a great find, I hope we get the info from it! The Edgar Cayce Hall of Records are supposed to be located in three places. !. Bimini, under the ocean, 2. Egypt under the sphinx and 3. Yucatan.
