I am sick of RUDE RUDE people PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I REALLY HATE WHEN YOU ARE NICE say "hi how are you?" people just walk by and ignore you..
or a simple hi and nothing.. really gets on my nerves.. like people pretend they don't see you so they don't have to say hi.. whatever

and when your friends or family ask you for advice or something and you give it then they tell you "they know all that already.." so why ask if you know that already??

sick of it

* makes me want to throw an ACME hole in front of them when they walk by.. =0)

I got pulled over by the police tonight. I saw them at the end of the road so made sure to go slow the whole way. I turned and drove down the road quite a distance and then the police decide to follow me a bit and then pull me over. They ask me if I know why they pulled me over. I tell them no and they say I was doing 40 in a 30 zone. This was clearly false since I saw the police as soon as I turned on the road and made sure to go slow.

They ask for my license and registration and I give them my license but I could not find my registration. While I was looking for it the coppers saw my old license that was half broken. I had a ticket for it being half broken a few months ago and just tossed it in my center console and forgot about it. They forced me to give it to them and when I had it in my hand it broke fully in half. They threatened to take me to jail for destroying evidence. They then took an old insurance card that is outdated and for another car. They walked away for a few mins. They came back and gave me a lecture about lying to cops. They could not find the ticket I had for a broken license. If they new the law they would know you get a free bee if you fix your problem within 30 days and it does not go on your record. I left a little annoyed because they had no probable cause to detain me. It actually pissed me off and wasted my time and petrol.

They probably were expecting a C-Note wrapped around your license and were upset when you didn't bribe them.

My ex!

We have shared custody of a 3yo little girl, turning 4 in April. One week on, one week off.

I needed medical records last week - our daughter has been sick, and also I needed immunization records to give from the health provider to the daycare where she would be at while I attend school. Her Mom refused - actually sent NASTY emails to me when I requested it from her that it was none of my business, I wasn't paying for it, she'd follow the custody agreement and not a step more could I expect from her.

It's Oregon law and clearly stated in the custody agreement that both parties have access to any medical records. So the problem is solved, I bypassed her and went directly to the healthcare provider with the custody agreement (and saw my ex there also, throwing a fit that I was allowed access).

It just ticks me off. REALLY - that's a controversial issue? Health care records? Our child's medical history? This woman just drives me up a wall, she's 8 years younger than me (I'm 30) - and every thing has to be an issue and a struggle. I'm so tired of sending nice and polite emails and getting nasty ones in return. We should be able to at least be civil and polite to each other for our daughter's sake, not this insane bitterness and resentment that she seems to have developed since we separated. Like it's my fault she got pregnant with another man and I left her and took her to court for custody.

Getting heated again. Time to go take a jog.

It is not just women, I have seen and heard this from both sides. It is people in general that are crazy! It is going to take a lot for mankind to become more humane, and have a better conscious! Therein lies the problem, some have more of a conscious than others. There have been studies on the human conscious, and the worst case scenario of those with the least amount of conscious is serial killers, habitual criminals, salesmen, and CEO's of corporations. I am sure you can include politicians, and lawyers in with those!

It is definitely not just women. My ex(my son's father, and who is married to someone else, now, and he still can't face the fact that I left his lieing arse many years ago), causes tons of trouble for us whenever he gets a hair up is arse. One time, he called the cops and told them I kidnapped my son, who I have full custody of. When the cop showed up at my door, I was pissed, I asked the idiot if they bothered to ask the other idiot if he had proof that he had custody, she was like ahhhhhh....I threw the court papers at her and told her to do her homework before harrassing me. He did that just because he found out I was dating someone! That is just one of the many things he has pulled over the years...eight more years I can finally wipe my hands clean of the little bleep bleep bleep.

See, Bob, the dark side is a much better place to be

Siren, thanks for starting this group therapy for us all!

I see things all around me which are dissolving our rights. TSA, HHS, CDC are making us less safe and more sick. I am sick of being poo-poo'd and there there'd. I want to say Wake UP YOU IDIOTS! DON'T YOU SEE WHAT IS HAPPENING RIGHT BEFORE YOUR EYES? But I am afraid they will lock me up and my kid needs me.

I suppose I will have the satisfaction of saying I told you so. But then, they will all be in a totally catatonic state and not hear me.

About the NYC MTA...they would be in better shape if the idiots in Albany would stop robbing their funds for other things!

There are so many fathers who abandon their children it is mind boggling. So it is refreshing to read how wonderful a father you are to your little girl, Duende. I worked with troubled boys who never met their natural fathers, even though some lived in the same city.

So you were saying about crazy women, Vance?

OK I'd like to vent please. Grrrrr kids! My daughter, whom I love dearly and am very proud of her btw, but she is going to send me to the funny farm! She invited my niece up to our home to do a semester. Both girls are 20yrs old. Plus I have my son, my daughter's twin ... so that makes three 20yr olds in my home! I love them all ... bullieve me I do! But I've had enough now and the semester has come and gone and my niece is still here ... almost a year! I just got off the phone w/my daughter telling her after my niece's semester is up she must go home. My daughter in turn says to me, if she goes I go. I calmly replied ... "OK."

I love them all dearly but I constantly have kid in and out of my house, esp. w/my son and his band (hardcore metal, which I've grown to appreciate the real "devil's music") practicing in the basement. Actually they are pretty damn good. They are soon to be on the road after just cutting their 1st CD.

But ... I do look forward to the day my kids go out on their own. And I know ... I will miss them when they're all gone. But right now I just want some quiet time.

Just saying ...

Tizme, that would drive me insane. I can't relate, we never had kids because I knew it would drive me even further off of the edge than I am most of the time anyway!
Good for you for calmly telling your daughter how it is, or how it is going to be.
Glad to hear your son is going to be taking his act on the road soon! Is there some place we can sample his music?

Thanks Metaluna. I feel better now.

Here's a sample of my son's band, The Third of May, from FB: https://www.facebook.com/thethirdofmay
If you can get past the dirty vocals (screams), my son is lead guitarist.

BTW, I stand corrected, it's an EP, not CD. Not sure of the difference.

Tell your son to play "Get a Job" with his band as a hint.

I had a few teen boys living at my house at a time and it could get interesting at times. It was a lot of fun and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

My oldest is out on his own, (lives in NYC) but always brings an entourage when he comes home to visit. My daughter is still home with us and between jobs. Twenty somethings are always in and out of my house, too! Everyone cooks different things...one's a vegan, the other likes asian food. My oldest brews his own beer. It helps to have a big kitchen and a dishwasher! Even my 15 year old cooks! We are like Food Network around here. My Mom always used to say to me (about the noise (music) and the comings and goings) "Well, at least you know where they are and what they are doing."

Not sure what you mean when you say "So what is wrong with that?" Reinhard.

Me having to vent, or 3 20yr olds living in my home or that I look forward to the day they leave?

IMO 20yrs old is still a bit young to be on their own as they are not financially set. Both girls going to school, although my daughter is the only one with a full time job and full time school ... she is brilliant, beautiful and motivated! She shines brightly! The other two ... grrr. And my son, part time job, part time aspiring musician (I do hope someday he makes in but we all know how hard that is). And my niece ... she does need to go home to her family ... pullleeze pulleeze pulleeze. So ... I'm ranting again. Sorry Reinhard ... your question just brought it to the surface. My apologies to all.

Mine stayed with me until they joined the military or got their own place in their twenties. Rent is very expensive, not to mention utilities and many places want references which most younger people don't have.

But the main reason is money.

And forget about them finding roommates as that never works out very well (I'll get my share of the rent next week, I promise).
