There are many more books out there that are about Indian mythology and ancient history. It can be hard to find as Native American books and subjects are always mixed in with the search results. All the above books are of the Asian Indian variety.

Another possibility is checking out the local college and seeing if they offer classes on the subject of ancient Asian Indian mythology and history. If they do, you could contact the instructors for good books on the translations of the more ancient stories.
