Rock Art from the "Valley of the Gods"

Maybe it's just me and my love of rock art but this place seemed especially interesting - Could these images be possibly telling us the story of an ancient (alien?) encounter of some kind? This area is also known as the "Valley of Fire" (Nevada).

Those images look very interesting, that's for sure! I would guess it is a possibility they are telling some type of visitation story. I did notice a few things (like a possible ladder from a craft) that do seem to be out of this world.

Thank you for sharing this picture. It is items like these that are hard to just ignore or chalk it down to just artwork. It is telling a story and what that story is is a mystery.

The images could also be of a Shamanistic Trance State depiction. Shaman's did do drawings of what they saw in trances, but as stated it could be of a visitation scene. To me, it is really ahrd to tell just from that one carving. I would need to view more, which I hope to someday be able to do soon.

yes, it could be a depiction of a shaman's dream but something tells me it is even more significant than that, and perhaps a story being retold at least a thousand if not thousands of years ago about an incredible escape from bondage (deep under the ground), hero's and advanced weaponary - This is the same place that has tons of rock art, ancient pathways throughout the remote area, huge statuesque rock formations, and many other mysterious sites. It is in the Southwest (Valley of Fire State Park, Nevada) and well worth visiting several times if you ask me!
