The heavenly law court

Did there really exist a court in heaven? Yes, there was such a court. It was located in the seventh uppermost section (or floor) also called Arabot inside the colonist’s spaceship called the Shekinah (The Eden).

The purpose of this court was to deal with difficult issues and conflicts that arose within each of the 72 nations. If an issue or conflict occurred in one of those countries, the mediator (The Tutelary angel or prince) for this country brought the case to the heavenly law court. The heavenly law court was an institution that the colonists introduced after the division of earth, where the 70 (or 72) human races left after the great flood and each was given their own country. In the third book of enoch we can read an entire chapter about how this court functioned.

The archive and the achivists

The archive was maintained by an alien called Radweri’el. His job was to administer all the documents in the law cases that came into this court. Once a new case came up, it was the archivist’s job to make sure all the documents and copies of the documents was distributed to all the members of the court.

It seems however a little odd to me that these advanced aliens inside a spaceship was dealing with paper documents and scrolls. I would rather like to believe that they used some sort of electronic system to handle most of the documents. I am also sure they did, but it would somehow be impossible for the authors of these texts to explain such a technology, and perhaps chose to explain it in the easy way. Here is what the book of Enoch writes about the archivist:

“Radweri’el is his name, and he is in charge of the Archives. He takes out the scroll box in which the books of records is kept, and brings it into the presence of the Holy one, blessed be he. He breaks the seals of the scroll box, opens it, takes out the scrolls and puts them into the hand of the holy one, blessed be he. The holy one receives them from his hand and place them before the scribes so that they might read them out to the great law court which is in the height of the heaven of Arabot in the presence of the heavenly household"

The law council

This council had five members. Two Watchers (The prosecutors) , two Holy ones (the court attorneys) and the head Judge. They met daily and decided which cases that should be dismissed and which cases that should be held before the heavenly law court . once a case was finished, they issued a verdict and then made sure the sentence was executed on earth. Here is what the book of Enoch writes about it.

"There are four great princes called watchers and holy ones. Their abode is opposite the throne of glory, and their station is facing the Holy one, blessed be he. So that the splendor of their abode resembles the splendor of the thone of glory, and the brilliance of their image is as the brilliance of the Sekinah. They receive glory from the glory of the almighty, and are praised with the praise of the Sekinah. Moreover the holy one, blessed be he, does nothing in his world without taking councel with them, then he acts as it is written: Such is the sentence proclaimed by the watchers, the verdict announced by the holy ones. There are two watchers and two holy ones. How do they stand before the holy one, blessed be he? It is taught that a watcher stands on one side and a holy one on the other. They abase the arrogant to the earth and exalt the lowly on high. Every day when the holy one, blessed be he, sits on the throne of judgement and judges all the world, with the books of the living and the books of the dead open before him, all the celestrials stand before him in fear, dread, terror and trembling. The wathers and the holy ones stand before him like court officers before the judge. They take up and debate every single matter and they close each case that comes for judgement before the holy one, blessed be he, as it is written: Such is the sentence proclaimed by the watchers, the verdict announces by the holy ones. Some of them decide the cases, some of them issues the verdict in the great court in Arabot. Some of them raise the questions in the presence of the almighty, some complete the cases before the one above, and some carry out the sentences on the earth beneath"

The garments of the head judge

The holy one was the head judge leading the heavenly law court. When he sat in this court, he was dressed in a white robe wearing a white wooly wig on his head. Does this ring a bell? Yes it does, because court members in modern courts in England also wear wigs. It seems to me that this ancient tradition has survived even from the time of the great flood. Here is what the book of Enoch writes about it.

"When the holy one, blessed be he sits in judgement on the throne of judgement, his garment is white like snow, the hair of his head is as pure wool, his hole robe shines like a dazzling light and he is covered all over with righousness as with a coat of mail."

The Princes

The 72 princes who served as mediators (and who spoke on behalf of) each of the 72 countries was the only ones that was allowed to participate and speak in the heavenly law court. The reason for this was because the heavenly court was (as I already has mentioned) a court that only dealt with issues and conflicts that was to be discussed between the 72 nations and the colonists. Here is what the book of Enoch writes about it.

"Whenever the great law court sits in the height of the heaven of Arabot, only the great princes called IHWH by the name of the holy one, blessed be he, are permitted to speak. How many princes are there? There are 72 princes of kingdoms in the world, not counting the prince of the world, who speaks in favour of the world before the holy one, blessed be he. Every day at the our when the book is opened in which every deed in the world is recorded, as it is written: A court was held, and the books were opened".

Justice, Mercy and Truth

When the heavenly court was in session. The head judge (here called the holy one) was joined by two other judges or perhaps some kind of jury members. They were called Justice and mercy and sat on each side of the head judge. Two scribes were present at all time to keep a record of all that were said. Truth , who possibly are the prosecutor stands in front of the three judges. The prince (The mediator) who was going to have his case tried for the court took position in front of one of the judges called Mercy.The angels of destruction are soldiers security persons , just like in courts even today. Here is what the book of Enoch writes about it.

"When the holy one sits on the throne of judgement, Justice stands on his right hand, Mercy on his left, and Truth stands directly facing him. A scibe stands below him and a scribe stands above him.When a man enters his presence for judgement, a staff, as it were, extends toward him from the splendor of Mercy and takes up a position in front of him. At once the man falls prostrate, and all the angels of destruction fear and shrink for him. As it is written:His throne is established through Mercy and he sits upon it in Truth.
When the holy one, blessed be he, opens the book half of which is fire and half flame, the angels of destruction go out from his presence moment by moment to execute judgement against the wicked with the unsheathed sword of the God, the brilliance of which flashes like lightning and passes through the world from end to end, as it is written: For by fire will the lord execute judgement, and by his sword, against all mankind."

Ps. According to these description, it looks like the legal system that these alian colonist's used some 17000 years ago pretty much looks like the one we are using ourselves today?.

Sounds like a good old oppressive dictatorship to me. The gods have gone and good riddance.

Lots of Zohar/Ancient of Days terminology in those quotes. The Zohar usually is quite specific and careful not to mix the Ancient of Days' name with that of The Holy One, Blessed be He, but Enoch has mixed the two. Mercy and judgement are also frequently mentioned by the Zohar, and in such a way as to imply mercy is a substance.

Yes, pretty tough guys those aliens. I guess they will be troubled when they finally come back and see what mess they have created here on earth. If I’m still alive, I would be delighted to hear mainstream scientists discuss their evolutions theories with them ):-

Thank for directing me to the Zohar anyway. I have read the Zohar: Bereshith to Lekh Lekha and learnt a lot from it. The book of concealed mystery, the greater and the lesser Holy assembly concerning macroprosopus, microprosopus and the most holy ancient one I however failed to understand at all. I have read a lot of strange books in my life, but these books are really something. I consider myself pretty good to squeeze out the hidden messages of these kind of books (if any), but here I got nothing at all and finally gave up.

You are of course right about the mixing of things. I find this mixture in almost all these kind of books and thats part of the game to try to sort it out . It seems to me that all The books of Enoch have a more straight forward and more simple way of telling their stories and the description from the heavenly court are (in my opinion) not difficult to understand at all, the Zohar was however on a different level and looked more like mysticism or some kind of philosophic books to me, but that was probably because I didn’t understand them.

I will perhaps try and read them through another time to see if they trigger something, I do however totally respect your theories regarding them. Keep up the good work.
