Uncontrolable laughter!

Postby isitmeorwhott? » Tue Feb 21, 2012 1:34 am

Well it doesn't matter who you are or how much of a serious person you pretend to be. But I think that the feeling of laughing out of control and not being able to stop is one of the greatest feeliings that is experienced by a human being! I am sure we all have that special friend who we have some kind of mental bond with that when we get together we just make each other burst out into tears of laughter. I love to laugh and have a good time with just about anyone. But there are those friends and people that you meet in life that you make each other laugh uncontrolably
We all have our best friends and what makes us friends is that we make each other laugh about anything. i am sure we all have a good friend that we yuk it up with where ever and whenever. The worst is when you and your (sidekick I call em) are somewhere where you are out in public and you both get on a jawn. It get's to the point that you don't know why you even started laughing. That little joke may not be that funny to someone else but for some damn reason just to look at each other you burst out! It is almost like you can see and hear what the other is picturing or thinking in their minds. It's almost like a slapstick movie going on in both of your heads! People look at you like something is wrong with you and that just makes it worse!.
I worked with a couple of guys on the job over the years where we have made this comical bond. It got to the point that we would have to be separated from each other cause we weren't getting much work done!
Have you ever laughed so uncontrollably that you couldn't get your breath and you thought if you didn't stop laughing that you were gonna die? I have. many a time and strive for that euphoric human feeling more than any other.. And when I think about it if I did die from laughing myself to death it really wouldn't be a bad way to go now would it hugh? All my life it seems all I did was I did it for the Lulz! LIVE,LOVE,LAUGH!!!!!!

I agree. Laughter is for sure the best medicine. I don’t like serious people, the ones who never seem to crack a smile even. I think life is so absurd sometimes all you can do is laugh.
I take coffee breaks at work with the same 3 friends’ everyday, we always sit in one corner of the lunchroom. We laugh so hard at times we do have tears streaming down our faces. And 99% of the time it is over something so stupid and it just snowballs, but if you even tried to tell somebody else what was so damn funny, it completely falls flat.
I have a few other people in my life I have this deep humor connection with and also can laugh so hard we about wet ourselves. It is glorious.

I love to laugh and not take life very seriously.

Life is too important to take seriously

My wife's my soulmate. We'll laugh so uncontrollably sometimes, we can't speak, no matter how hard you try to say something. And I love making off the cuff jokes. I see humor almost everywhere.
A well done comedy can really set us off, too. When we watched "A Shot in the Dark" recently, we were in tears laughing the whole movie through, and our stomachs both hurt from laughing so hard so long.

It is agreat feeling of helplessnes not being able to stop. You know I think our govt. experimented on a weapon that would make the enemy totally helpless from a laugh bomb of some sorts. Wow. I bet it did work maybe too good. They would defeat their enemy no problem. However the bad thing was that everybody started to get along and NO NO they can't have a weapon like that!

I wonder if laughter is a strictly human thing or if aliens appreciate humor, too. For some reason I cannot imagine two greys bursting into laughter......."did you see that human's face? hahaha..."

Humor and laughter are a defense mechanism, maybe that is our saving grace.
I know one thing for sure, being able to laugh at myself and those around me is what keeps me going.

I will see this stranger and start uncontrollably laughing at him until I realize I am looking at a mirror.

Yeah I quite frequently crack myself up too.

A few years ago I was in a mini-market waiting in line to buy a couple of bottles of water. I looked up at the big round mirror they have to keep an eye on the customers in the store. I noticed this one woman standing there and was thinking about "the old bag" and then realized it was me.
My hair is getting pretty gray and sometimes it is quite shocking to me in the right light!

I was standing in line at the store a couple of weeks ago, watching this creepy guy on the security monitor above me. He looked out of place and a little rough. When my wife grabbed my arm to get me moving, I was shocked to see it was me. Jeez, when was the last time I got my hair cut. And the clothes, just when did I stop caring, I wonder.

Metamorphosis, cool signature. I have the 2012 Mars/Earth monetary exchange rates. Let's see, I believe we owe you ... Exactly $1-US currency. A paper bill with George Washington on the front and our most arcane secrets on the other side. Hmmm, you martians might be able to figure it all out; can we pay with change, instead.
... Peace.

My way of determining if a person has totally given up is when they go out in dirty baggy sweat-pants.

My sig line is a joke taken from NASA. I like the " no funny business" .

My dirty, baggy sweats are always under house arrest. But when my neighbor across the way comes over, it can look like a pajama party. It's nice to have someone other than your significant other that you can be yourself around - no window dressings necessary.
..
I upgraded my sig too. Found out where I saw "tides of time", wasn't Wolfe, but thnx for trying.

In my town, if you go out in dirty, baggy sweat pants, you would blend right in~!! I habitually go to town in stained and raggedy jeans with the cuffs rolled up and full of hay. My sweatshirt is always bleach stained, from washing feed tubs and water buckets out, and all my clothes have horse hair stuck to them.
I'm about the best dressed of the bunch around here.

Forgottentales, you're probably the best smelling person around, too! Mr. Ed's deodorant spray, mmmm!

People in my town wear shorts when it's 50° or "warmer". Not me, I'm probably still wearing long johns.

It was the Seinfeld in me coming out. There was one episode where he was really letting George have it about wearing sweatpants.

People in the Pacific Northwest wear shorts even when it's snowing, I have seen that a lot.

I was in a shop one time and saw a woman wearing the same t-shirt as me - I was quite amazed given that it was a slightly obscure souvenir from NYC. Then I realised I was looking in a mirror!

I had a miserable childhood due to my mother's erratic irrational behaviour, when I was in my 30s I went to stay with some friends. I spent the entire time I was there laughing, they couldn't understand what I was laughing at and I had no explanation. It was because I was -for the first time in my life- happy, truly happy and surrounded by people who loved me.
