Derinkuyu (Underground City)
A big underground city had been discovered beneath the town of Derinkuyu in eastern Turkey, it had 16 underground 'stories', although, in spite of ventilation shafts, it was completely invisible from the ground above. It was big enough to hold a population of 20,000.
