but recent investigations shown that it is an exact calendar works with sun light and shadows. this calendar not only shows the accurate days of beginning of each season but details information about months and days, for example special days like religion ceremony days and etc. it has been revealed that the holy messenger of Persia (Zoroaster) could calculate the start location of norooz (first day in Iranian calendar)in the world. it begins every year in the first day of spring someplace in the planet where the first ray of sunlight shine on the earth. these new findings have been published in a book as "lean-to calendar system in Iran" by reza moradi gheis_abadi (Shiraz navid publication). |
